Dr. Philip Bußmann

Dr. Philip Bußmann has been interested in the stock market since the late 1990s, when stock prices rose tremendously and then fell even more sharply a few years later. It has now become his passion. He was curious whether the stock market really consists of 90% psychology, as the experienced stock trader Kostolany once wrote. In addition to an intensive examination of the respective investment, it requires imagination and intuition, which Kostolany claimed were lacking in traditional economists. Kostolany's statements inspired him to pursue research as a research assistant after his studies in the field at the University of Osnabrück. There, he earned his doctorate on the topic "Utilization of Information Inefficiencies for Time Series Forecasts in the Credit Default Swap Market." The insights gained were successfully applied in practice, allowing him to work as a freelancer trader after his doctorate in 2015. Through the social trading platform wikifolio, millions of euros are now invested in his investment strategies Investment 4.0 and China Hightech. Since October 2022, he has been sharing his experiences and insights as the Editor-in-Chief for the Traderfox stock magazine Growth.
