Las cifras fueron buenas y se emitirán 1.200 millones de dólares como recompra de acciones. En el último trimestre, las ventas aumentaron un 16,3%, hasta 1.570 millones de dólares. El beneficio neto aumentó un 39%, hasta 1,99 dólares por acción.
En la conferencia telefónica, los directivos de Arista afirmaron que la empresa se está posicionando como un innovador de redes puro para la próxima era, abordando un mercado de 60.000 millones de dólares en redes de IA basadas en datos. Curiosamente, según Arista, Ethernet se está convirtiendo en una infraestructura crítica para los centros de datos de IA tanto front-end como back-end. "Las aplicaciones de IA simplemente no pueden funcionar de forma aislada y requieren una comunicación fluida entre los nodos de computación, que consisten en GPU de back-end y aceleradores de IA, y los nodos de front-end, como CPU junto con sistemas de almacenamiento e IPWAN". InfiniBand está siendo sustituida. Ethernet a gran escala se convertirá en la red de facto y la primera opción para cargas de trabajo de entrenamiento de IA escalables.
