Business Driver: Centene (CNC) is one of the largest providers in the USA, with over 28 million members in the government Medicare and Medicaid programs. Recently, like many other heavyweights, Centene has suffered from rising costs associated with higher reimbursements. On September 12, Centene reaffirmed its annual forecast for 2025, expecting an EPS of $1.75, while the analyst consensus currently stands at $1.69. Truist Securities subsequently maintained the rating at "Buy" and raised the price target from $35 to $39.
