Business Drivers: Regions Financial (RF ) is one of the leading U.S. regional banks, with more than 1,300 branches in Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida. The bank is particularly strong in the retail and commercial banking segments, as well as in Wealth Management. Recently, it notably benefited from significantly higher fee income in the Wealth Management sector. On July 18, they surprised with adjusted EPS rising sharply from 53 to 60 cents, while the analyst consensus had been at 56 cents.
