The DAX is showing slight gains on Thursday after a hesitant opening, following the business numbers released by chip giant NVIDIA the previous evening. Initially, mixed economic data had dampened the mood, with the Purchasing Managers' Index for the German industry coming in at 49.9 points, below the 50-point mark, while the Purchasing Managers' Indices in the Eurozone and France were also weaker than expected due to the effects of the Middle East crisis.
