The DAX is showing noticeable gains on Tuesday after positive cues from Wall Street. After a initially strong opening, the DAX has further expanded its initial gains and is trending significantly higher at midday with +1.0% . Demand was strong at the start of trading following the strong performance of the US technology exchange Nasdaq, with heavyweight stocks from the chip and semiconductor sector once again in focus.
