On Friday, December 5, 2025, the US stock market closed with slight gains. The Dow Jones gained about 0.2% and stood at around 47,955 points, while the S&P 500 rose by approximately 0.2 to 0.3%, ending the day just below its all-time high at 6,870.40 points.
