The countdown is on. E-commerce giant Amazon (AMZN) announced its official launch date for Project Kuiper on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. The first rocket for its satellite internet network will take off on April 9. Additionally, Amazon has made a last-minute entry into the bidding war for the social media platform TikTok. Amazon's stock is down over 6% in pre-market trading as President Donald Trump has announced new reciprocal tariffs.
