The Chinese internet search engine giant Baidu (BIDU) has intensified the competition in AI models, introducing its latest base model Ernie 4.5 and the deep-thinking model Ernie X1. The AI chatbot Ernie Bot was originally scheduled to be released on April 1 of this year, but Baidu has now made it available to the public ahead of schedule. Users can test the two latest models for free through the official Ernie Bot website.
