Equinox Gold Sells Brazil Operations for Over $1 Billion

Equinox Gold (TSX: EQX) has announced the sale of its entire Brazil operations to a subsidiary of the Chinese CMOC Group. The transaction includes the Aurizona and RDM mines as well as the Bahia complex and has a total volume of $1.015 billion. Of this amount, $900 million is allocated to an immediate cash payment upon closing, supplemented by a potential production-dependent additional payment of up to $115 million one year after closing.
