Meta Platforms Invests in Nuclear Power Plant in Illinois

Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ: META) and the energy provider Constellation Energy have signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) effective from July 2027. At the center of this agreement is the Clinton Clean Energy Center in Illinois, a powerful nuclear power plant that will provide 1,121 megawatts of emission-free energy to help meet part of Meta's energy needs.
