In Q1 2025, Münchener Rück reported a net profit of €1.1 billion. This result was achieved despite significant large losses, particularly due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The combined ratios were consequently above the target value, both in the property and casualty reinsurance (83.9%) and in the Global Specialty Insurance segment (95.5%).
