Qualcomm and Amazon are developing their own chips for AWS AI data centers over several product generations – the stock jumps by more than 6% in pre-market trading. The deal includes AI inference as well as optical connections of up to 1.6 terabits per second and confirms Qualcomm's new full-stack strategy in the data center.
