The SEC creates a five-year exemption under which tokenized stocks and other securities can be traded on blockchain platforms in the U.S. under certain conditions. Robinhood already possesses the infrastructure with Robinhood Chain: Stock Tokens are available outside the U.S. in more than 120 countries, and CEO Vlad Tenev sees tokenization as the long-term dominant mechanism for asset trading.
