Tencent Integrates DeepSeek Into the Weixin App, Stock Climbs to 3-Year High!

Tencent Holdings (HKEX: 700) has started integrating the AI model from local startup DeepSeek into its messaging app Weixin. The shares of the Chinese technology company have subsequently risen to their highest level since 2021. Tencent recently started testing access to DeepSeek's AI model for queries in Weixin, in addition to its own Hunyuan model.
