Elon Musk confirms that Tesla apparently plans to "flood” Austin with Cybercabs. In response to a user’s question on X, he simply replied, "Yes.” On September 3, Tesla will officially hold its Cybercab launch event in Austin. The two-seater, designed specifically for autonomous driving, has neither a steering wheel nor pedals. The robotaxi pilot program, which has been relatively small-scale so far, could now, for the first time, evolve into a larger-scale commercial fleet test using the vehicle developed specifically for this purpose....
