Accenture (i) has shown in the fourth fiscal quarter that the death knell for traditional IT consultants in the AI age was premature. Revenue rose by 7% to $18.7 billion when adjusted for currency, and adjusted earnings per share came in at $3.29, well above expectations of $3.18. Even more importantly, I find the order situation noteworthy: New orders turned positive again with $22.2 billion, and with 141 large contracts over $100 million, Accenture set a new record.
