France plans to increase its defense spending. It is expected to double by 2027 compared to 2017. To achieve this, spending needs to rise to €64 billion, which is also the new target set by Macron. Consequently, there will be additional expenditures of €3.5 billion in 2026 and €3 billion in 2027.
