BYD: Profiteer of the new US car Tariffs?

Donald Trump announced new tariffs on the night of March 27, 2025. According to this, a tariff of 25% will apply to all imported cars. These will be imposed in addition to existing tariffs. "If you build your car in the United States, there is no tariff," Trump stated. This puts pressure on all car manufacturers from BMW, VW, Mercedes-Benz to General Motors.
