On May 27, 2025, the German economic newspaper "Handelsblatt" released an article titled "New Consortium Aims to Build AI Gigafactory," in which it detailed which companies are making these efforts. Among them is our model portfolio stock IONOS (i) (WKN A3E00M). Together with SAP, Deutsche Telekom, Schwarz Group, and Siemens, negotiations are underway for a joint application to the EU for a gigantic data center. The deadline for initial expressions of interest is June 20. The EU aims to establish 5 AI gigafactories, each with around 100,000 GPUs....
