BioAge Labs: How Novo Nordisk's ZEUS Study Could Validate the Market for the NLRP3 Inhibitor BGE-102

In mid-June 2026, BioAge Labs (BIOA) dosed the first patient in the QUELL-CV study to test the oral drug BGE-102 on 160 obese adults with elevated inflammatory levels and cardiovascular risk factors. In the preceding Phase 1 trial, BGE-102 reduced the inflammatory marker hsCRP by 86 percent, achieving reductions similar to comparable injectable medications. On July 9th, the investment firm Needham confirmed its buy recommendation for BioAge with a price target of $50, based on the potential of the drug class and upcoming industry catalysts. ...
