Amazon can Triple Profit! Cloud Business Becomes More Profitable, but Slightly Misses Revenue Target

Overall, Amazon's performance was impressive in Q3. The company beat expectations on several metrics, including revenue and profit, thanks in part to a thriving advertising business. The e-commerce giant's $143.1 billion in revenue beat expectations of $141.4 billion by 13% year-over-year. At the same time, net income jumped.
