Demand for AI and VMware Drives Broadcom's Growth

The semiconductor group Broadcom published its results for the second quarter on Wednesday, June 12, beating analysts' estimates. Revenue climbed by 43% year-on-year to $12.49 billion. Net income amounted to $2.12 billion (GAAP) or $4.42 per share, compared to net income of $3.48 billion or $8.15 per share in the same period last year - (non-GAAP: $5.39 billion and $10.96 per share).
