Hot rumors: NVIDIA is said to be working on three new AI chips for China!

The USA is in a technology war with China. China's access to high-performance chips for AI applications is to be restricted. As announced in October, export restrictions are to be added to make access to semiconductors for AI even more difficult. For example, NVIDIA cannot supply its A100 and H100 chips to China for this reason. The new restrictions could now also slow down the export of NVIDIA's A800 and H800 chips to China.

As Bloomberg reports today, NVIDIA wants to launch three new AI chips on the market that can be delivered to China. These are to be based on the design of the H100 chip. They will be called HGX H20, L20 PCIe and L2 PCIe and will be presented on November 16. NVIDIA has an interest in continuing to deliver to China, as revenues in China and Hong Long recently accounted for 20 to 25% of data center sales. In addition, 90% of the 7 billion AI chip market was held in China. This dominant share could dwindle, which is why NVIDIA is working on new chip solutions.

The prospect of new AI chips for the important Chinese market should support the share today. The recent breakout has already given the stock a green light on the chart!
