Schneider Electric (860180) specializes in solutions for building, upgrading and retrofitting data centers that are also fit for the AI age. In addition to the physical infrastructure of data centers, the company also offers uninterruptible power supplies, infrastructure management in data centers, rack systems and integrated cooling systems. The Group is also dedicated to the modernization and expansion of power grids with software, smart ring cable switchgear and protection devices. First, this makes Schneider Electric a beneficiary of the 40-50% increase in demand for electricity in Europe over the next ten years and, Second, the expansion of the data center infrastructure plays into the group\'s hands.
The share has been consolidating since the beginning of May. The trend following could start today, as Jefferies is upgrading the stock from Hold to Buy. The target has been raised from €175 to €260. It is assumed that data centers have recently been growing by 30-40% per year and demand should continue to support 15% growth. Consequently, investments in electrical infrastructure should double. Schneider Electric is seen as the top beneficiary.
