41% EPS growth in the 4th quarter
On the night of 07.08.2024, Stride reported on the 4th quarter. In this quarter, revenues grew by 10% to $534.2 million and EPS increased by 41% to $1.42, while the consensus was only $1.27. This means that EPS for 2024, which has already ended, amounted to $4.69 (+58%). Average enrollments climbed by 9% to 194,300.
2025 Stride continues to grow and change the future of learning
According to management, Stride is predestined to change the future of learning. This is because 70% of families are dissatisfied with their school education and are looking to change. In addition, students are rethinking the traditional university path. Stride sees itself as a beneficiary, as it appears to have struck a chord with parents with its personalized, career-oriented and technology-based offering. This is supported by the highest enrolment rate achieved in 2024. The company also scored points with new product offerings, such as a tutoring program, which is very popular according to Stride. As a result, enrollments for the fall look promising so far, meaning that growth will continue there.
The field is set for the 2028 targets. The stock should continue its trend!
Stride also sees itself on track for its long-term targets, as it is aiming for EPS of $6.15-8.35 by 2028. An official forecast for 2025 will follow later, but the conference call held out the prospect of increasing enrollment, revenue and profitability. EPS will therefore increase towards the 2028 targets. The market should reward this. The share should initiate its trend following!
