Artikel von Simon Betschinger

Simon Betschinger developed a strong passion for the three topics of "entrepreneurship, natural sciences, and the stock market" during his youth. During his high school graduation year of 1999/2000, there was a true euphoria in the stock market. Stocks on the Neuer Markt and technology stocks in America reached dizzying new highs almost daily. In this environment, Simon Betschinger founded his first internet start-up, "TradeCentre," in 1999. The idea was ambitious and bold, but it worked. TradeCentre was one of the first online stock market publications. Editors made exclusive interview requests to the boards of publicly listed companies. It worked. TradeCentre became one of the top sources for exclusive board interviews in the German capital market. Simon Betschinger completed his mandatory military service in the Bundeswehr barracks in Ulm and also started his academic career in this beautiful small town in 2001 by studying economic physics. A physics degree requires attendance at laboratory experiments. To gain more freedom for his own entrepreneurial projects, Simon Betschinger switched fields after his preliminary diploma and studied economics in Constance from 2003 to 2008. He fondly remembers this time. During his years in Constance, he made a breakthrough as a trader, met his future wife Sarah, and developed the business plan for founding TraderFox GmbH. Simon Betschinger is considered one of the most skilled traders in Germany. He started a €100,000 real money portfolio experiment on the MasterTraders blog in 2006. Within 4 years, he was able to decuple the portfolio. The profits exceeded the first trading million in 2010. The tax certificates for these profits are available on MasterTraders. The trading methodology that made this success possible was developed by Betschinger between 2003 and 2006. He named it the "Livermore School" in honor of Jesse Livermore. A core element is the pivotal news points. These are key points in the price movement of stocks triggered by relevant news that lead to a fundamental reevaluation of stocks.
