Marvell: AI Slowdown? Why I See the Pullback as an Opportunity

A shift from training to inference could benefit Marvell as hyperscalers require cost-effective custom chips and more powerful networks.

I see the recent pullback in Marvell (i) more as an opportunity. The market is reacting to the call from Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to potentially slow down the development of ever more powerful frontier models. However, I find the conclusion "less frontier training = less Marvell growth" too simplistic, especially since the hyperscalers are not signaling any Capex slowdown.
